Correct documentation and coding is an essential element for any practice. As government regulations are constantly changing, it is imperative that your practice conducts regularly scheduled coding evaluations to ascertain your level of risk, and more importantly, identify opportunities for lost revenue due to lacking documentation for services that were performed, but not captured correctly within the medical record.
Noremac will work with your group and determine an evaluation and/or documentation training program that works best for your practice. Typically, we recommend an initial evaluation be conducted to identify potential areas of opportunity, and subsequently provide documentation training that will be specifically tailored for your practice’s needs.
Noremac conducts both Evaluation and Management and Surgical Note Evaluations. These services are typically performed off-site. Final results of evaluations are submitted to you via an executive summary report, with results specific to each provider in the practice. A practice meeting with then be scheduled to discuss the findings and identify potential educational needs.
